In Whitman County, between Palouse and Pullman, WA there is a National Park that proves how truly beautiful Washington is. It is 298 acres and it was named after the Yakama tribe’s Chief Kamiakin. It is made up of mostly timberland, but the Kamiak Butte is a mountain that ranks very high on the majestic mountain scale, especially since it reaches approximately 1,000 feet above the wheat fields surrounding it.
